Angels' Crest Alaskan Klee Kai - Dedicated to this very special breed of miniature husky.

Picture

The Alaskan Klee Kai are indeed a very special breed of canine, which can only be fully appreciated through the experience of adopting one as a companion. It is not a breed for everyone's interests and circumstances.  However, for those who make a wise and informed choice to adopt one or more Alaskan Klee Kai, the rewards will exceed all expectations.

We made that choice in 2010, adopting Cruiser (left) and Maggie (right) and our lives will never be the same! We waited until we retired so we would have the time we want to spend with them. They are first and foremost our family companions; and we enjoy running, hiking and traveling with them very much.

Cruiser was born in September 2009, and he earned his UKC Championship title for conformation in the summer of 2010. He earned his Grand Championship title in the spring of 2011. Maggie was born in June 2010, and she earned her UKC Championship title for conformation in the spring of 2011.  She earned her Grand Championship in the winter of 2011.  Both Cruiser and Maggie have benefitted from professional training, excellent care and continuing advice from the kennels they came from.  Cruiser finished 2011 with 94 UKC "Top Ten" show points, placing him one point below first place nationally.  Cruiser finished 2012 with 97 UKC "Top Ten" points ranking him the #1 Alaskan Klee Kai for UKC's 2012 Top Ten Breed and Dog Standings.

Maggie and Cruiser were bred in September, 2012, and Maggie's first litter of two puppies was born November 17 (see Puppies).  The puppies have since found their new forever homes.  As active members of the Alaskan Klee Association of America (AKKAOA), we are committed to the ethics and standards of the Alaskan Klee Kai breed club, including rigorous health testing and examinations (see Health, Diet & Exercise).  Please use the "Contact Us" or "Adoption Questionnaire" page of this website if you are interested in possibly adopting one of our puppies in the future.

In any event, the purpose of this website is to provide information about the breed and share from our experiences with our Klee Kai companions.  We will continue to develop this site, adding photos and information.  Feel free to contact us if you have questions or are interested in knowing more about the breed.
